ACC appoints Sid Miller OBE as Chief Executive.

ACC has appointed Sid Miller OBE as Chief Executive following an international executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
ACC is a Crown entity employing approximately 4,500 people across New Zealand. The organisation provides care, support and rehabilitation services, while promoting injury prevention to help New Zealanders recover from injuries, return to work, regain independence, and reconnect with everyday life.
Sid brings more than two decades of public and private sector leadership and governance experience, including leading large organisations through periods of transformation, growth and cultural change. Most recently, as Chief Executive of EQC, he led the organisation through a significant transformation programme, strengthening its capability to serve New Zealanders.
Sid has also held executive leadership roles within ACC, with responsibility for customer service and claims management. He brings a deep understanding of ACC, the importance of delivering for clients, and the role technology can play in improving service outcomes.
Sid holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University and an Executive MBA from Lancaster University. He will commence as Chief Executive of ACC on 21 September.
