BDO Auckland Executive appointment

BDO Auckland has appointed Ashdin Dubash as a Risk Assurance & Consulting Director following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

BDO is the fifth largest accountancy and advisory network in the world and one of New Zealand’s leading chartered accountancy firms. BDO in New Zealand has an independent network of 21 locations, over 125 Partners and more than 1,200 staff.

Ashdin is a proven risk professional with extensive experience across risk management, internal audit, governance, controls and assurance. Most recently, he was the Group Internal Audit Manager for SkyCity Entertainment and was accountable for overseeing all internal audits for the business.

Previously, Ashdin spent eight years with Grant Thornton, ultimately progressing to Director level within the Risk Consulting service line. There, he supported a broad client base across sectors including energy, health, NFP, financial services, and government. Ashdin’s early career was spent within the risk and internal audit team of Sharp & Tannan, an Indian based chartered accounting firm.

Ashdin holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Mumbai University. He joins BDO Auckland in September.
