BDO New Zealand appoints Tracy Ellis as Head of People & Capability

BDO is the fifth largest accountancy and advisory network in the world and one of New Zealand’s leading chartered accountancy firms. BDO in New Zealand is made up of 13 Independent Member Firms with 19 Offices, around 110 Partners and over 900 staff.
Working across BDO Auckland and the BDO New Zealand National Office, the Head of People & Capability is a key national leadership role developing and implementing a people strategy, and supporting a high performing culture.
Tracy Ellis is a highly accomplished P&C leader with considerable experience in professional services in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. For the last three years, she was Head of People & Capability at Auckland International Airport, and prior to this, Tracy spent seven years with PwC New Zealand as General Manager People & Culture. She has also spent time with Mighty River Power leading the HR function, along with BNZ where she had organisational development and business partnering roles. Her early career was spent with KPMG and NCR in the United Kingdom.
Tracy has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland, and Master of Arts from Westminster University. She joins BDO in February 2023.
