Farmlands Co-operative appoints Andrew Priest as a Board-Appointed Director

Farmlands Co-operative have announced the appointment of Andrew Priest as a Board-Appointed Director following a comprehensive selection process assisted by SEQEL Partners.
Andrew’s career experience covers senior leadership roles in large-scale agribusiness, international trade and industrial innovation companies.
Most recently, Andrew served as Chief Executive of FrostBoss (NZ Frost Fans), a private equity backed agri‑tech manufacturer and exporter of frost‑protection systems operating in 14 countries. Previously, he was Chief Executive of Ngāi Tahu Farming and Forestry, where he diversified the organisation’s farming portfolio and grew asset value. His earlier career includes international leadership roles with Heinz‑Watties, General Cable, and a US‑based position with Carter Holt Harvey. He has also run his own consultancy, specialising in business strategy and organisational dynamics.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Waikato, a Master of Forestry Science from the University of Canterbury, and a Master of Arts in Organisational Psychology from Columbia University.
