
Fiordland Lobster Company appoints Anna Payn as Chief Financial Officer

Fiordland Lobster Company has appointed Anna Payn as Chief Financial Officer following an executive search completed by SEQEL Partners.
Established in 1989 by fishers in Fiordland National Park, Fiordland Lobster is dedicated to the sustainable fishing and live export of wild-caught southern rock lobsters. The company has grown to become the largest supplier of the most prized lobster in the world and is a progressive and innovative international business, with operations around New Zealand and Australia and into China.
Anna is a finance executive who brings skills and knowledge from a range of industries of varying size, complexity and ownership structures. Following an early career with KPMG and BDO, she spent four years with Westland Milk Products, a significant dairy exporter, as Group Finance Manager. She broadened her experience as Group Financial Controller for Citycare Group, a nationwide provider of construction and maintenance services. More recently, Anna has been Head of Finance with Dynamic Controls Group, a subsidiary of publicly listed US corporation, Allient Inc. Dynamic Controls is a global business with operations in New Zealand, China and the UK, designing and manufacturing control systems and components for the medical mobility industry.
Outside of work Anna is Board Chair of Habitat for Humanity (Christchurch) Limited and Chair of the Finance and Risk Committee, has been Honorary Accountant for the Christchurch Kidney Society for over 10 years, and is a Business Mentor with Business Mentors NZ.
Anna is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Taxation, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Canterbury. Anna joins Fiordland Lobster as Chief Financial Officer on the 12th of May.
