Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, New Zealand’s largest market cap company, has appointed Lyndal York as Chief Financial Officer following a successful global search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Lyndal is currently Chief Financial Officer at ASX-listed Asaleo Care in Melbourne where she manages the company’s finances, in addition to the investor relations and information technology functions. Prior to her role at Asaleo, she held Head of Group Finance and Group Financial Controller roles at ASX listed company Cochlear over an 11-year period. She has also previously worked in the United States as Vice President Corporate Accounting and Reporting at Edwards Lifesciences, a NYSE listed medical equipment company.

Australian born, Lyndal holds an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University in the United States, Bachelor of Economics in Accounting from Macquarie University and is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and NZ and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Married to a New Zealander, Lyndal will be relocating with her family from Melbourne to commence her new role with Fisher & Paykel Healthcare in March 2019.

Lyndal replaces long-time Chief Financial Officer, Tony Barclay, who retired from the company in mid 2018.
