Fonterra Executive Appointment

Fonterra is delighted to announce the appointment of Jacqueline “Jackie” Herd as General Manager Operational Safety following a global executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Fonterra Co-operative is a global dairy nutrition company and a world leading dairy exporter which plays a crucial role in New Zealand’s agricultural economy. Reporting to the Director Global Quality & Safety, Greg McCullough, Jackie Herd will have overall responsibility for leading the transformation of Health & Safety globally across Fonterra’s manufacturing sites, operations, supply chain, distribution centres, laboratories and farms.

Previously based in Singapore, Jackie brings a significant Safety pedigree to the role. She was previously Head of Health, Safety and Environment for Bayer, Asia Pacific region, covering all four of Bayer’s divisions: Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health, Crop Science and Animal Health. Bayer’s Asia Pacific region has revenues of circa €8.1 billion and almost 25,000 employees plus 20,000 contractors in the high season.

Jackie commenced with the Fonterra team in July 2020.
