Gentrack Group Director appointment

Gentrack Group has appointed Stewart Taylor as a Non Executive Director following a Board directed search led by SEQEL Partners. 

Gentrack Group, listed on the NZX and ASX, is an enterprise software company that builds mission-critical billing, customer management (CRM), and data systems for the energy, water, and airport industries internationally.

Stewart brings more than 25 years' experience across a range of senior finance and executive leadership roles. He is currently Chief Financial Officer of NZX listed Spark New Zealand, one of New Zealand's leading telecommunications and digital services companies.

Stewart previously worked as Chief Financial Officer for Partners Life, a life insurance business with approximately $620 million in annual premium revenue and around 400 employees. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years with ANZ Bank NZ in a variety of financial roles and ultimately serving as the Chief Financial Officer and then Chief Executive of ANZ Investments. Stewart joined Kiwibank in its early stages and built his career alongside the organisation's growth.

Stewart will also assume the role of Chair of Gentrack's Audit and Risk Committee. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICEAW).
