Lodestone Energy appoints Michael Cummings as a Director

Lodestone Energy has appointed Michael Cummings as a Director following a comprehensive selection process led by the Lodestone Board and SEQEL Partners.

Michael is an experienced company director and former energy executive with more than 35 years across the New Zealand and Australian energy and infrastructure sectors.

Over his career, Michael has held senior executive roles with Vector and NGC in New Zealand, before relocating to Australia in 2008 to join Brookfield Infrastructure. He subsequently spent more than a decade as Co-Head of Infrastructure at AMP Capital, where he was responsible for institutional investment in essential infrastructure and energy businesses across both New Zealand and Australia.

Michael brings extensive governance experience, including 17 years as a director of Powerco, where he chaired the Regulatory and Asset Management Committee. He has also served as a director of Endeavour Energy, chairing its Health, Safety and Environment Committee; Chair of Evergen, a distributed energy and virtual power plant business; and a director of Melbourne Airport.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
