Vista Group appoints Matthew Cawte as Chief Financial Officer

Vista has appointed Matthew Cawte as Chief Financial Officer after an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
Matthew is an experienced executive who is currently Chief Commercial & Finance Officer at Biomatters, a successful New Zealand software company which has recently been sold to a United States trade player. Previously Matthew spent 5 years as General Manager of Orica New Zealand (later Ixom after the company was sold to private equity firm, Blackstone). Earlier he was Orica’s General Manager Finance. Matthew’s career prior to this time was spent in senior publically listed and multinational finance roles covering a range of industries including consumer products, software, hardware development and entertainment.
Vista Group Limited was listed on the NZX in 2014 and is a leading player in the global cinema software market. The company has a market capitalisation of circa $1b and 750 staff based in New Zealand and various global markets.
